Our client wanted to reduce the costs of mains water supply demand for their farm and commissioned Nicholls to design, supply and install a suitable rainwater harvesting system at the farm.

About the Project
Nicholls designed and installed 2 x 75 m³ underground rainwater harvesting tanks next to the main farm buildings with the required connecting pipework. The tanks are joined together and the water is pumped under pressure to the
water trough network watering their organic beef herd across the farm, using an in tank automatic variable speed pumping system.
